The candelabra euphorbia is a very fascinating yet poisonous plant. The candelabra euphorbia can grow up to forty feet tall - thats almost ten metres! The tree has one trunk with branches spurting out from it. At the top of the tree, the branches start to look like cacti, giving the tree a shape of candelabra. This amazing plant also has little yellow flowers that bloom in mid-winter.
The inner part of the tree is full of toxic, white sap, and if this toxic sap comes into contact with your skin, your skin will blister and peel. It can also blind if it comes into contact with your eyes, and breathing in the fumes even burns. The tree has this toxic sap along with sharp spines so that animals don’t feed on it.
